Trail Overview

Cleghorn Ridge features excellent views, as well as challenging obstacles. There is plenty of space at trailheads to pull over and air down\up. Weekends can get busy, but most of the trail has room to pass. Some of the obstacles can be extremely challenging, so use caution and drive within your ability. Please pack out any trash you create or find. The trail is close to Silverwood Lake which offers day use and overnight camping. Day use is $10.

1st time there, so nothing to compare to, but the trail was in pretty good condition. A few ruts and some slight rocky areas. It was a lot of fun to drive and had several optional off shoots that were way more challenging.

Half of the trail was pretty clean road, later it gets rocky, with some erosion, there was a water pond on a road like 1.5 - 2 feet deep with some big rocks in a bottom, barely climbed over with stock height of BMW X5, recommend going with XT or mud tires because of sharp rocks
