Trail Overview

This sandy track climbs out of a wash at BLM S1426 and travels North towards New Dixie Mine Road and the Bighorn Mountain Wilderness. It is generally easy but there are a couple of tight spots that would be difficult for a full-size rig and there is a steep climb/descent just South of New Dixie Mine Road. This is rattlesnake country be snake aware when out of the vehicle. There are numerous dispersed campsites off of spurs along this road.

Wouldn’t say it was a hard trail but for sure tight for a Toyota 4Runner in one area that required some reversing and recalculating. Other than that, very fun!
