Trail Overview
This trail is fairly smooth compared to others in the area, making it a more comfortable route through the region. The surface is soft sand throughout, requiring momentum management. The trail continues down the power line leading toward the water aqueduct, but ends just past Edgar Road, providing clear navigation reference via the power lines. You'll encounter some whoops scattered along the way, creating minor bouncing. The route is lined with creosote bushes on both sides throughout.
Difficulty
This is an easy trail with the soft sand being the main consideration, requiring four wheel drive and airing down recommended for maintaining traction. The fairly smooth conditions compared to other area trails make this an accessible option. The some whoops add minor bouncing but aren't technical obstacles. The power line provides excellent navigation reference throughout. A straightforward route suitable for most high clearance vehicles.
