Trail Overview

This single track starts at the end of 15EV109, and keeps going west for about a half mile. It's a relatively easy dirt bike trail, but with a few more embedded rock sections that make it somewhat more technical. It's a narrow trail cut into a shelf and following the curvature of the hillside, with some shelfier sections with very mild exposure. As it climbs along the shelf, you get a nice view over the side of the hill. There are more roots and ruts and small rocks on this trail. It comes up to some small embedded rock layers sticking out of the surface of the trail, but they are less than a foot tall and still easy to ride over. The trail is a bit rutted in sections during the climb as well. On the west end it intersects with an easy ATV trail, 15EV73.

To get here, go north of Highway 4 towards the community of White Pines and White Pines Lake. Go past the White Pines day use area, and continue onto FS 7N08, which will take you directly to the staging area. This recreation area has ample parking, porta potties, and several primitive camp spots with picnic tables. There are more camp spots and staging areas along FS 5N52. The trails here are open from April 15 - December 15, but it gets very dry and dusty here in the summer, so spring and fall are the best times to visit.
