Trail Overview

Starting and ending right next to the check-in office, this trail is the longest in the park. It will also take you past every major area and loop within the park. Because the trail is directional, you will need to be very mindful of the signage, which you simply can’t miss throughout the park. As a shared trail with rental units, please be respectful of others and allow faster users to pass when it is safe to do so. Rental units: Please do not proceed on trails marked “NOT FOR RENTALS.”

The main trail was decently easy for a stock Rivian until I passed “But Momma Said!” Closer to “Slippery when wet”. There was a two shelf drop which was decently steep and my Jeep would have easily done it but anybody with a 100k electric truck that weighs 8k lbs would have slipped and slid rid down even with trail-terrains. Maybe more knobby tires on the Rivian could help but I decided to do a 300 point turn to drive back out. I’ll try again another day with some other trails but this park seems to be slightly more hardcore than others I’ve been too with the Rivian and the Jeep.
