Trail Overview

This trail circles one side of the needle so you can see it from the back. Spoiler: It is more impressive from a distance. This trail is heavily used by quads and side-by-sides. They have caused a lot of whoop-de-dos on much of the trail and it is unpleasant in a Jeep. Go slow and have patience. We went up the east side and returned on the west side, but it can be done either way. Burros are everywhere in this area. Populations are above the carrying capacity of the range and need to be managed more aggressively
