Trail Overview

Starting at the church, the road turns to dirt, going from two lanes down to a single lane that is marked with waterholes, washouts, and washboard ruts. It leads to a scenic point overlooking the water. This spot is privately owned with allowed use, so respect it, or we will lose it. Nearby, during the winter months, you can find the Beaumont Ice Cave.

The original description remains accurate with 3 updates: 1) at the entrance there is a Road Closed sign off the side of the road, however, the trail is obviously still in use. It no longer appears to be maintained. 2) there is one small area that is starting to be washed out along the cliff, unsure for how long it will be passable. 3) after rain, the water holes are deeper. See photos.
