The trail is shaded for most of the hike, making it a pleasant journey even during warmer months.The trail continuously rolls up and down, with occasional switchbacks that make the ascent manageable. Along the way to Little Jimmy Campground, you'll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains, including the towering Mount Baden-Powell, which can be easily accessed via a spur trail branching off from the PCT. This peak is highly recommended to bag along the way, as it is not far off the trail and is included in the overall route.Little Jimmy Campground is nestled at an elevation of 7,500 feet.
