Description
Although this is a very short trail, it deserves mention for the unusual potholes in the rocks near the top of the bluff. These potholes were formed by swirling water, which eroded the hard quartzite over thousands of years. These smooth, scoured bowls are very rare, and it's still a mystery how they were formed so high up on the bluff, where water would be expected to drain readily. This path is very steep, and travels between the huge quartzite boulders that make up the talus field on this bluff.
