Middle Green Gulch Trail

This trail can be done as an out and back from Muir Beach, or, you can create a longer hike by linking to the adjoining the Coyote Ridge Trail. Once atop the ridge, take in the panoramic 360-degree view, looking as far north as Pt. Reyes and as far south as Pacifica and, on a clear day, the City, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Farallon Islands as well. The trail is utilized by mountain bikers in the uphill direction only. Once you are on the trail, look to the east and you'll see Hope Cottage tucked in under the trees, look downward and you'll see a couple of yurts that belong to the Zen Center. View across the coast highway and you may see hikers and mountain bikers on the Dias Ridge Trail. At the bottom is the Green Gulch Farm, there you may see classes, demonstrations, horses and farm hands. Whether starting from the north or south, as you enter the farm dont forget to close the gates.
