Tennessee Valley: Ridge Trail to Coast Loop

Start at Tennessee Valley parking lot and head up the Miwok Trail (Bay Area Ridge Trail). The bottom section of this trail can be lush and overgrown, which will quickly change into some exposed and sometimes steep switchbacks. Look for wildflowers and native plants along the way as well as sweeping views of the ocean. Turn left onto the Coyote Ridge Trail where you'll get great views of the ocean and amazing topography of the headlands. Cross over the Fox Trail and continue onto the Coastal Trail. You can head west to check out the cove or continue back down to Tennessee Valley Trail and to the parking lot.
