Reaching this road, don't go left onto it, or right onto it, go straight across it to find a faint trail that gradually becomes more defined.

Upon reaching this gate, there is a spur trail to the right (difficult to see in the photo) that takes you into Dueul Creek. Or go around the gate if it's too dark and spooky to go in the canyon.

Description
This is the best way, in my opinion, to connect the Bonniville Shoreline Trail to Deuel Creek. You could, of course, take the road, but you may have to compete with vehicles on their way to the rifle range.
