This hike is somewhat moderate in difficulty, but is rewarding. There are campsites, pools, and several waterfalls along this trail! As you get deeper in the canyon, you will be hiking alongside the creek. There are many wooden bridges to help you cross over. This is a great place to visit in the fall with the leaves changing color! The trail starts off right on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail in Centerville. The first half mile or so is not so interesting but once you reach the Large Campsite you will quickly see why this trail is so popular. The North trail hugs the side of the mountain until you are well into Deuel Creek. The trail continues from the Large Campsite back towards Deuel Creek. Once you hit the creek there will be snake grass everywhere. As you continue hiking up the canyon you will find multiple fire pits and campsites. There are many pool areas where the water is 1-3 feet deep. The rope swing area is about 1.5 miles from the North Trailhead. Just be careful if you play on this as you never know when the rope may break. The trail goes up and down the canyon, and around the last waterfall on the trail, you'll turn back for the southern trail. The southern trail boasts some more waterfalls and waterslides. Turn around, left at the intersection, and head back the same way you came up to get back to the trailhead.
