Description
From the parking lot, look for the path that veers into the woods from the paved path along the playground. Stay on the left when the trail splits and soon it will descend, climb, and descend again. Stay to the left after the creek crossing to get to the Silverwood Trail. The Silverwood trail begins where it splits with the Holly Loop. From here the trail climbs up to the neighborhood overlooking this part of Fairland Recreation Park. The trail is almost entirely hardpack dirt and a fairly steady climb the entire way.
