Artist's Point - Rocky Point Path

With lovely views of Lake Superior, this short, easy trail winds along the basalt rocks of Artist's Point to the Grand Marais Lighthouse. This trail, along with the eastern loop, offers a short hike in town. It is very popular with locals and visitors, and can sometimes get a little crowded on nice days. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear for this as you'll be hiking on some very rocky areas, even though the trail itself is relatively flat and straight.
