Path Type
Point to Point
This trail starts in a nice, family friendly park--Anaina Hou Community Park. There is a park office where you'll need to sign a waiver since the trail is passing through private landowner's property with permission from the landowner. The park also has a nice picnic area, restrooms, mini golf, gift shop, small concession stand with coffee and treats, skatepark, playground.
You'll hike through the mahogany forest which is the largest plantation in the U.S., and you'll also pass through some farm area where there were horses. You have some views of the mountains in the background. There is a lot of different vegetation to see. Most of the trail is wide through the forest, and in the farm area it is on a mowed grass path.

Mostly flat easy hike to Stone Dam. Not a loop right now? Just out and back. Tree tunnel is very nice
