Description
This is a short loop through the woodlands just north of the lake. Access is via the Oak Ridge/Prairie Loop Connector, or several other side trails that connect it to the Lake Road parking lot. The field in the middle of the loop is still often mowed, and is a great place for birding. Stands of oak and hickory trees make up most of the surrounding forest.
