Description
The Wetland Loop Trail can be accessed from the northeast corner of Reservoir Loop Trail, or from two points off of the Forest Trail. To access this from the Reservoir Loop Trail, take the Boardwalk Trail east through a wetlands environment. Here, educational signage placed by the Botanic Garden describes the vegetation communities you'll head through and the ecological benefits of wetlands. Upon leaving the boardwalk, this dirt trail splits and you can go either left or right; either direction winds you through forest surrounding the wetland. Either direction will also meet the Forest Trail, which you can take to continue on the Wetland Loop Trail or use to make a longer loop.
