The Purple Loop is tough to access as it resides beyond park roads at the southern section of the park. One way to reach it is to take the Green Loop, which shares a short section with the Purple Loop. The Purple Loop trail is well-groomed and well blazed. You can expect an easy hike with minimal climbing.
