Backbone Trail: Kanan to Zuma Ridge

The standard manner to access this trail is to park at the Kanan parking lot. Take the trail heading west. After close to 3 miles, you'll end up at Zuma Ridge Mountainway fire road. To continue onto the next segment of the backbone, head left a few hundred feet and spot the singletrack going up on your right. Otherwise, embark on a hellish journey on the Zuma Ridge fire road, or turn around.
