4.0 (3 Ratings)
This trail has the best view in the park, but wait until fall for colors or when the leaves are down to best enjoy it.

Description
This 2.1-mile loop is relatively easy for over 80% of it, but as it climbs that quickly changes. The grade approaches 30 degrees, and it is almost hands and knees climbing at one spot. I wouldn't recommend this for any small children. That said, the view is wonderful, and the fall colors are great. There is a great breeze as you leave the bottoms and gain a little elevation. The rock outcropping at the top is a beautiful place to take a break and enjoy the success of your climb.
