This trail can take you several directions. The trail leads you to a beautiful alpine lake, Rachel Lake. From there, you can access Rampart Lakes, Lila Lakes and Alta Peak. This is a popular hike, and you'll see others on the trails. If you do this hike as an out-and-back just to Rachel Lake, it is about 8 miles roundtrip.
