This section of the Trinity Trail System starts at Trinity Park, north of Interstate 30, and travels southwest along the Clear Fork of the Trinity River to Bryant Irvin Road. The trail is very well-marked and paved (though some gravel sections run parallel to the paved path). There are benches along the trail as well as water fountains and vehicle parking at most trailheads. The trail is wide enough for two-way traffic, and is shared between bicycles and walkers/runner. Dogs are welcomed, but must remain on leash.
This section of the trail is on the north bank of the river. Note that there is a section that runs on the south bank of the river north from Clear Fork Main Street, but this section dead-ends at a low-water crossing that can only be crossed by foot. Enjoy convenience right in Fort Worth, with excellent views of the city skyline and the Trinity River. A few small waterfalls and rapids (a few feet tall in some cases) can be seen along this stretch of the river.
