Closed MondaysHours: 6:30a.m. - DuskClosing Time is about 30 minutes after sunset. The Security Officer is instructed to lock the gate one hour after sunset. If you are in the parking lot within a few minutes of darkness, you won't be locked in.Find out when CRP is closed due to rain or other situations by visiting their Facebook page or calling 972-709-7784.If a heat index of 110 is forecast, NOAA would release an Excessive Heat Warning, and we will close the preserve.

Description
A fun, challenging trail with moderate elevation changes throughout. There are some good uphill portions and beautiful views across the valley at the overlook.
