Description
This popular multi-use trail follows a rolling climb up the base of the Swan Mountain Range to reach the impressive Morrell Falls. The nearly 100 foot tall double-falls is definitely the crowning attraction, but hikers will also get to enjoy the nearby Morrell Lake, a healthy forest of mixed conifers, and a chance to spot a variety of wildlife that occasionally wanders the area. For those who are feeling adventurous, there's also a steep climb that reaches some great views above the falls, just be cautious! There are a number of dispersed campsites located near the trailhead and Morrell Lake.
