Description
Essentially unmaintained, this trail is still listed as part of the Honeycomb Wilderness. It seems to change and move every time I see it, probably due to the fact that it is used more by the local game than humans. This trail offers total emersion into the natural beauty of the area and after the first bend, you are alone and free of other humans. Enjoy the "Flintstone House" style rock formations and colorful rock cliffs and spires. The trail gets rougher and rougher as you go with some rock scrambling well up into the canyon. The best views are on the way back, but be warned, it gets dark faster in these tight canyons.
