Main Loop Trail

The Main Loop Trail is about 1.7 miles of diverse habitat and typical Texas hill country rock-and-root tread. It climbs 350 feet in elevation to the tops of the hills. Many of the other trails in the park can be accessed directly from the Main Loop Trail, so you have plenty of opportunities to extend your hike. Lower portions of the trail are relatively level and rated Level Three Access. The ascents are steep and rated Level Four Access.
