Description
This trail connects Trail #327 with #323 (Cramp Hill). At it's west end, this trail connects with the Potts Creek Trail #327. From 327, the trail heads east along a beautiful section of Butte Creek. The little valley is open in spots or is otherwise shadowed by ponderosa pines and oak. A herd of deer is often spotted here. The open valley gives way to a small rocky canyon and the trail then has a short rocky section as it climbs, slightly, away from the creek. After a traverse along a side hill the trail drops back to and crosses Butte Creek. Be ready for wet feet in the spring! After the junction with Trail 323, AKA Cramp Hill Trail, 321 drops into and skirts the Hassayampa golf course before terminating at Strickland Park, a City of Prescott Park. From west to east, this trail has one little step and a descending switchback, then be ready for a steep and loose climb on 323 which is old doubletrack. Combine with Trail 323 to make a loop or connection.
