Description
This trail climbs from the end of Sweetwater Trail L1 to switchback up to the unmarked Laguna Falls Spur that drops down to the "gorge." There is a rope attached to a tree to help with the scramble down and back up. You'll be greeted to a beautiful waterfall and pool for a great place to rest before climbing out of the gorge. Back on the Sweetwater Trail L2, Continue climbing out of the canyon along a less shaded trail with more rocks scattered on the trail. As you climb you'll be rewarded with surrounding views during. Eventually you'll reach the high-point and enjoy a casual descent before a final rise brings Trail L2 to an end at a well-established doubletrack.
