Path Type
Point to Point
The Silver Star Trail #180 is an old rocky road heading north and south. The Silver Star Summit Trail #180D is an even rockier road heading south and up to the summit. There are no signs here but there may be a rock cairn at the junction. You can reach this point via several different trails that converge near the summit. From this junction the #180D becomes an obvious and well-used path.
If you're coming up the Bluff Mountain Trail #172, you'll find a short use trail (Summit Connector) leading from it up to the #180D just east of the #180/#172 junction. This is a short-cut you can use to avoid having to go on to the junction with the #180 and then double back.
