This trail is really part of an old farm road, but it includes the most iconic view of Matanuska Lake and the mountains behind it. Flat and wide, this is an easy route, and the views are certainly the highlight of this route. This is on Matanuska Experiment Farm property where fields are still used for forage production or research. Please respect the fields by sticking to the trail.
