Near Sugarloaf Mountain Trail
Reaching the summit of Sugarloaf Mtn. Three horses & riders found the 2.2 mile trail quite challenging, yet beautiful. Much steeper than anticipated, the trails had washed gullies & many tree roots & a few downed trees to negotiate. Not for green horses.

Description
This technical trail offers the hiker a very short and steep climb and drop around Sugarloaf Mountain. Access it from the Shawnee Ridge Trail or from the parking lot at the campground at Great Seal State Park.
