Description
Hidden Falls Trail begins at the picnic area and leads you through the "Big Woods", a hardwood forest ecoregion. You'll cross a boardwalk over a sensitive area where the endangered Minnesota dwarf trout lily grows. At the end, you'll see Hidden Falls, a graceful 20-foot waterfall hidden in the Big Woods!While this is a very popular hike in the park, head out and explore the other area trails if you've got more steam! Nerstrand Big Woods State Park has a whole host of trails to offer, each with their own character.
