There and Back
This run heads north and west on a moderate to easy section of the Goodwater Loop Trail. The trail goes completely around Lake Georgetown for a total of 26 miles, however, this out-and-back adds up to a little more than half of that while still giving a good sense for the terrain around the lake. There are four Army Corps of Engineers parks along the trail that have water, and three have bathroom facilities. The north shore section is just a bit easier than the south shore trail section. There are no extremely difficult hills or trail sections.
