Description
This trail follows yellow blazes, ribbons, can lids (there isn't much consistency in the blazing). It starts just south of Ellis River over the guard rail. The trail skirts around a housing area and climbs moderately over rocks. The trail climbs more steeply and hits a flat area with some overgrown woods roads. The trail climbs again and passes an overlook (on the left); here the trail corridor changes from a hiking width to a ski width. The overlook provides an excellent view of Mount Washington. The trail passes an open field with a view (on the right) before arriving at a junction with the Wildcat Valley (XC) Trail and coincides with it right. Here, the trail follows an old road. It passes by Hub's Loop (on the left) and continues to descend. It passes by the Orchard Trail, Quail Trail, and Dana Place Trail. The trail ends at a gate, where there is a kiosk.
