Description
Referred to as the No-Name Trail (due to lack of blazes), this trail was once mostly doubletrack, but due to many blow-downs, re-routes and erosion over the years, it has become a little harsher. The trail is accessed by heading up the paved road from Lake Louise and taking the first trailhead on the right. Sections can be muddy in the spring, and there is a stream crossing near the trail's mid-point. The stream runs from bone-dry to fairly deep depending on the season. Terrain is moderately difficult, with a few tough sections and log crossings. The last 100 yards descending to Wintonbury Road is usually washed out.
