Description
Although mapped counter-clockwise, the trail is non-directional. The campground has water and toilets. Additionally, there are pit toilets and water pumps scattered around the park. Most park at the pavilion (first parking area into the park on the left, location 16) and hike the short service road heading due east to the trail (~1/4 mile) to 15. From this parking lot the red loop (track) follows the waypoints in the following order: 15 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5 -> 7 -> 9 -> 10 -> 11 -> 12 -> 13 -> 14 The trail is gently rolling through areas of wooded cover and open fields. There are some areas that pass through low marshy areas, so there may be soft spots present until the summer months. South of Price Road is slightly rougher with embedded roots and some short steep downhills and climbs. There is a reference map here. You can use this to refer to the location references used above.
