Wolf Ridge Trail

The Wolf Ridge Trail is often utilized to complete a loop through the southern side of the Tennessee Valley or to connect over to the Gerbode Valley. There are two fairly steep sections along the way, but after each, one will be rewarded with beautiful coastal vistas. Take your time with the vistas that present themselves. There are a couple of small hilltop meadows full of wildflowers seen by few. From here, visitors can also watch as buzzards ride the up drafts. The birds ascend at eye level on the eastern facing slopes. Traveling in an easterly direction you have views up the Tennessee Valley. This is probably one of the least traveled trails off of the Tennessee Valley. If you want some solitude this is a really nice trail to include in an outing.
