Description
Little Mountain Trail would be over run with people if it was just near somewhere else, or it was easier to link into other hikes. As it is though, it's worth the effort it takes to get to it. After a short uphill, the trail is mostly all down over pretty easy grades. The trail can be quite rugged and rocky. There is a section referred to as "the Slot" where the trail goes through a 30 inch gap in two shoulder high boulders. The only intersection is a bit tricky, as Little Mountain actually veers right slightly but continues on the ridge. Al; maps show this intersection as being a right angle 4 way intersection, but that's not how it looks in real life, so be careful.
