The Rocky Ridge Trail gains elevation as you proceed to the south, providing a few scenic overlooks back down to Wolf Creek below.

This portion of the hike takes you as far south as you can go at this park. Better views compared to the other trails in the park which generally follow Wolf Creek and are generally flat.
Water is provided along the route, particularly beneficial in the summer months when even though it has a high shade factor, heat and humidity will make you want water if you didn't bring any with you.
