Description
This trail climbs from the trailhead with a few steep pitches. Follow the signs for Trail #1 as it intersects with several connectors and trails. After crossing over the doubletrack at an opening, this trail wraps around the back of the mountain. This is some of the first trail built at Kerr Scott, and also has a newer section. After that, there's an inner loop that contains some very rooty old-school trail. There is a short bypass connector that can be used to skip this section, and immediately following this is an entrance to The Snake (#2).
