Description
This trail is for runners and hikers only. The surface is thin crushed gravel. The trail begins at the parking lot on the east side of S. Garnett Road. The trail runs north, crossing Haikey Creek on the Garnett motor vehicle bridge, then runs east and south into the park. At the Haikey Creek Lift Station the trail enters a heavily wooded section for about a quarter mile before crossing Haikey Creek again with a steel pedestrian bridge. Once west of the creek, the trail runs south along the tree-lined creek bank before turning north to return to the parking lot. There are several shortcuts available.
