Description
A steep and loose trail with some optional bedrock steps. The trail begins just to the left where FR13 splits from 254. You can hike up here from Cedro Middle. It is a bit obscure, but distinct singletrack takes off through the trees. After a couple hundred feet, you pop out on 254 just before the Cedro Peak gate. Go around this gate and stay toward the left. A distinct trench singletrack will angle up along the west face of the peak. After a tight switchback, the trail continues to climb and goes up one of the larger steps in the area - there is a bypass. After climbing through an open area, the top of Cedro Peak is reached. Please stay away from all tower facilities.
