Description
Located in Wharton State Forest, this 1.7 mile trail is marked by a purple trail blaze. The trail contains pine trees and packed sandy sections through the Pine Barrens, with views of the Mullica River along the way. As you are walking the trail you'll arrive at Beaver Pond. Although this pond may resemble a swamp, it is surrounded by beautiful Pine Barrens flora. Enjoy nature while overlooking this pond on your hike. The hike is a simple one, filled with scenic views of what the Pine Barrens are made of. This trail is fun, easy and good for any hiking skill level!
