Bakers Tank Trail

USFS Trail #40 - Bakers Tank Trail From the Boreas Pass winter trailhead parking lot, climb (or drive) Boreas Pass Road to Baker's Tank. The trail begins on the West side of the tank. The initially steep climb from Boreas Pass Road mellows after the first 500 feet. Climb steadily for 0.9 miles until reaching a fork. Mountain Pride Trail (USFS #9031) continues straight North on the contour and Baker's Tank Trail descends left. Descend for 0.8 mile to a junction with the Valdero Trail (USFS #9032). Continue due West through these junctions to another short climb. Bakers Tank Trail tops out, then descends back to the winter trailhead.
