Description
Camp Creek Falls is a small waterfall that is accessible via a very short walk through Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The quarter-mile walk to the falls is a great opportunity to take a break from the road and stretch your legs. Although the trail looks invisible from the road due to its infrequent use, the trailhead is clearly marked by a sign on the side of the road. The path into the falls runs right up to its base, where you can almost touch the waterfall as it courses through a 40-foot drop into the creek bed. The view into the small basin, surrounded by fir trees and wildflowers in the summer, offers another great view of what makes the wilderness areas of the Pacific Northwest worth coming back to time and again.
