Description
Trails in Squilchuck Park are mostly singletrack, forested trails on a gentle, (often dusty!) trail surface. Hiking near twilight will send sun rays streaming between the trees. Near the top of the climbs, you'll hike into some openings in the trees allowing you to look out at the nearby mountains. Most trail intersections are marked with small poles with trail numbers. Navigation is a little tricky due to some unmarked trails, but given the size of the park you are never very far from the parking lot if you get lost. Trails are frequented by runners, hikers, mountain bikers, and the occasional horseback rider.
