Description
The Dune Trail takes visitors through the dunes and onto the refuge beach. To arrive at the trailhead visitors take the East Dike Trail approximately one half mile south of the smaller of the two parking areas. Follow the boardwalk to the beach. Be sure to stop at the platform halfway through the dunes. From the platform you can see both the ocean and the Back Bay. This view is definitely not one to miss. Once you arrive on the beach turn right to hike south down the beach or left to turn north and head up to the Seaside Trail.
