Description
When using Highpoint Trail, the final push to the Highpoint Viewpoint is quite steep and involves some easy scrambling. If one wants to avoid this difficult section of Highpoint Trail, this Highpoint View Bypass circles around the base of the rocky knob summit that Highpoint Trail climbs. This is an unsigned route that is not shown on the maps. Traveling for a tenth of a mile through the forest, its start and end points are found at the 0.9 and 1.3 mile marks along Highpoint Trail, respectively.
