Description
Whitetail Trail is the main horse trail that leads equestrians from the Highway 71 trailhead to the rest of the parks equestrian trails; however it is open to foot traffic as well. This trail is very flat and wide and there is no elevation change. Whitetail Trail takes you on a tour of three major ecosystems: pine forest, oak forest, and grasslands. It also passes by some older structures that are a reminder of the ranching history in the area.
